That's a tough one but it's worth it. The language is thick as hell.

Understandable. Damned by Chuck is much easier and way more fun and campy if you're wanting to read any of his work.

I couldn't read Kerouac because the way he writes
What'd you try reading? To be honest, I gave up about half way through On The Road albeit I was reading the draft version. It was just so god damned boring.

Totes agree. Women was ace, Ham on Rye was dope, Post Office was my jam though. Any of the Henry Chinanski books are great but his poetry is real hit or miss for me.

Pygmy was pretty much the worst Palahniuk, if you still want to weird convoluted story, I'd suggest Rant. Also what Dr.Abortion said, the Damned/Doomed series is hilarious.

Currently reading The Fireman, Odd Apocalypse, and just finished Timeline.

Shit weird and convoluted? Look no further than Naked Lunch or House of Leaves is pretty wild. Also ayyyyee the Odd Thomas series is a good bit of fun. Hell, anything Dean Koontz puts out is guaranteed to be at least fun.

Anything from Burroughs is a pleasant headache. But i don't fuck with Danielewski, i've been using House of Leaves as a mouse pad for years. Dude the Odd Thomas is such a fun series, i'm glad Koontz didnt kick the bucket before finishing it. I just finished The voice of the night by him as well and have Cold Fire in my pack right now.

Neat. Do you like child porn yourself? Or just child rapists? Roman Polanski is a decent one, his earlier works are where it's at. Chinatown and Rosemary's baby were probably his best work while he was raping children. When he got caught and had to stop it all kinda fell off from that point unfortunately. Fuck Woody Allen though. Boring ass talent-less hack.
