sweet.

have you read the comic?

I think about picking up the TPB every week, but considering the tidbit about the movie being largely dead-on, I'm just going to see the movie.

After some sampling of DC Comics' new books of their "New 52" launch, I've decided that the only titles I am currently interested in following are...

Justice League (Jim Lee, Geoff johns)
Action Comics (Grant Morrison)
Superman
Batman
Batman: The Dark Knight
Batman and Robin
Nightwing
Batwoman

I gave Detective Comics a chance, but Tony S. Daniel writes the corniest, cliche and all-around worst dialogue I've ever read, by far.

The best of the Bat-books at the moment is Batman:TDK. David Finch's artwork is always top-notch and Paul Jenkins has written the most entertaining story of the "New 52" Bat-books so far.

I have not read a single Batwing issue. Mostly because Batwing is a character out of Grant Morrison's "Batman Incorporated" which I own every issue of, but have yet to read. I'm waiting for the final installment to release (I think it's called "Leviathan") so I can read the full story in one sitting. If I like the Batwing character enough after reading Batman Inc., I might look into it... but for the moment, I feel I invest heavily enough in the other Bat-titles already. Is it any good?

My friend offered to try and get me into Marvels office for a visit

I told him that if he got me in I would physically assault Joe Quesada

I would be tempted to do so as well. Aquaman #3 and Fury of Firestorm #3 are out now. Then I wait for Animal Man #4 and Demon Knights #4. I am currently reading:

Animal Man
Bat Girl
Fury of Firestorm
Demon Knights
Green Arrow
Justice League International
and Blue Beetle.

I've tried but can't get into DC beyond the occasional batman title. I prefer Marvel (and seem to be in the minority on this one). I mostly collect Spider-man, Iron Man, Deadpool, but have been branching out into the Marvel universe.

I love the walking dead (graphic novels, not the tv show; don't get me started), but Ben Templesmith is my favorite - Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse and Welcome to Hoxford are fantastic. The occassional Manga - Death Note being my favorite........

Mostly Marvel and IDW. My friend just got me into the G.I. Joe: Cobra series from IDW......too early to tell if i like it.
